Admittedly, I’ve become a bit food obsessed lately.

Since laying out my diet goal I’ve been consumed with researching food. I’m fascinated by the raw foods diet and the paleo diet. The paleo diet makes the most sense to us, which is why we’ve decided to use it as the starting point for our new eating plan. The raw foods diet also really clicks for me. Raw foodist believe that when you eat foods in their natural, raw state you keep the enzymes and nutrients in tact so the food works with and for your body in the best way possible. SO I’ve been reading a lot about raw foods and their preparation, green smoothies, and dehydrating foods, and I really want to adopt some of the raw principles into our new eating plan. Definitely going for whole foods only, single ingredients.

As overwhelmed as I am learning about all these new foods, lifestyles, and techniques I am doubly excited to try them! I want to play and experiment and experience. I want to be spontaneous in the kitchen and have fun with cooking. It’s going to be fun!
